Fire Risk Assessments
We are now able to offer formal Fire Risk Assessments to comply with the Regulatory
Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (came into effect 1 October 2006).
The Fire Risk Assessment will include:-
- A visit to and survey of your premises by the specialist Fire Risk Assessor
- Collection of data photographs, premises drawings/ plans, previous fire risk
assessment etc.
- Production of a written Fire Risk Assessment in hard copy and/or electronic format
to suit your preference
- A briefing session with the assessor to explain to you what you have to do to
comply with the contents of the assessment (if applicable)

9. (1) The responsible person must make a suitable and sufficient assessment
of the risks to which relevant persons are exposed for the purpose of identifying
the general fire precautions he needs to take to comply with the requirements
and prohibitions imposed on him by or under this order.

Fire safety arrangements
11. (1) The responsible person must make and give effect to such arrangements
as are appropriate, having regard to the size of his undertaking and the nature
of its activities, for the effective planning, organisation, control, monitoring
and review of the preventive and protective measures.
